Mr. Fargo is a partner in the firm and oversees the global regulatory compliance, corporate administration, human relations and financial operations of Capri. He is a member of the Global Management Board and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Fargo has 30 years of real estate investment experience, including mortgage origination, equity placement, debt restructuring and portfolio management. Prior to joining Capri, he was Head of Real Estate and Deputy General Manager of the Chicago Regional Office of Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Ltd. from August 1987 through March 1994. Mr. Fargo led the real estate loan origination and asset management group, closing approximately $1 billion in loans on large downtown office, mixed-use, retail and hotel properties across the United States, totaling $5 billion in gross fair market value. With Capri and its predecessor companies since 1994, Mr. Fargo has originated, underwritten and closed equity investments and loans on all property types. Mr. Fargo, a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Gannon University. Mr. Fargo is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
