Mr. Hoyes is a partner in the firm and manages all global investment activities of Capri as its Chief Global Investment Officer, and is Chairman of the firm’s Investment Committee. He is also a member of the Global Management Board. During his 40-year career, Mr. Hoyes has been involved in a broad range of real estate equity and debt investment activities, including origination (underwriting, negotiating and structuring and restructuring), investing, restructuring / collection, risk management and credit administration. Prior to joining Capri, Mr. Hoyes was Executive Vice President at Fannie Mae from 2000 to 2004 with total responsibility for all aspects of their $2 trillion single-family loan portfolio (origination, pricing, securitization, marketing, product development, loan servicing, loan administration, problem credits, foreclosure and property disposition). From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Hoyes was Senior Vice President in charge of Fannie Mae’s $50+ billion multifamily mortgage and investment portfolio. Mr. Hoyes has a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from City University of New York. Mr. Hoyes is a member of the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, and has been an active member of the National Multi Housing Council, the Mortgage Bankers Association and other industry associations.
