CHICAGO,IL – Capri Capital Partners, LLC (“Capri”) has named renowned real estate economist Dr. Sam Chandan a partner, Chief Strategy Officer and Global Head of Strategy and Research, the company announced today. Dr. Chandan is President and Chief Economist of New York-based Chandan Economics and a real estate professor in the associated faculty of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In his additional role at Capri, he will join the firm’s investment committee and lead its domestic and global investment strategy and research activities.

Primo III. “This appointment happens at a critical juncture in the growth of our platform, both in the United States and as we expand further into Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.”
Dr. Chandan was previously Chief Economist at real estate data and analytics companies Reis (NYSE: REIS) and Real Capital Analytics. He currently serves as the National Economist Laureate of the Real Estate Lenders Association and is on the editorial and advisory boards of several leading industry associations, including the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council. He studied at Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his PhD from the Wharton School, and has been a visiting professor at Dartmouth College.
